Wow. When I logged back on to this blog, it made me realize it’s been two years since my last post. TWO. Years.
Last week, I was making home made chicken pot pie pockets, and i got all food photography blog nostalgic. And now here I am. I’m back! With a twist…
After each post, I would like for you to give me suggestions, if you want. Give me something to make, bake, eat! I will pick a dish or what have you for my next post. My sister’s first suggestion was key lime pie. Clearly with my crab cake post, she got denied. Hi, sis!

You know, I’m not really a fan of cranberry sauce, but somehow, things always taste better when you make it yourself.
Super H is a chain of Asian grocery stores around Atlanta. Since I don’t live anywhere close to any of their locations, imagine my happiness when I found out I had to do a demo for work in one. You better believe I blew some money on unnecessary items such as:
- Banana Ketchup
- Lumpia wrappers
- Dumpling wrappers (more on this later)
- Chinese eggplant
- Long Beans
- Swiss Roll Cake
I could go on… I actually wanted a good rice cooker but those things are over $100.
Back to the dumplings…
Whip Cream: Check.
Port Wine and Brandy: Check.
How can you not fall in love?
Just a little teaser… but we’ll come back to that later!
You can usually get out of walking the dogs in the morning, if you bribe your significant other with breakfast… works every time! And nothing starts the morning off right like a good cup o’ joe. Double points if you add heavy cream!
I wrote down chocolate while making my grocery list today. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I was in no need…
